Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
East Parker County Chamber Women’s Business Alliance group is hosting Kathy Meyer with KM Consulting Group. Meyer will talk about dealing with and identifying less obvious signs of sexual harassment and how to handle them. Sexual harassment is more than overt pressure for sexual favors; and there are specific rules that employers should have in place and follow to handle all types of sexual harassment. The presentation will identify how, when, and what an employee or employer should do if they perceive that sexual harassment is taking place and when it is not sexual harassment. Attendees will learn about company responsibility, individual responsibility and what to do.
