DESCRIPTION:Sexual Harassment in the Workplace\n\nEast Parker County Chamber Women's Business Alliance group is hosting Kathy Meyer with KM Consulting Group. Meyer will talk about dealing with and identifying less obvious signs of sexual harassment and how to handle them. Sexual harassment is more than overt pressure for sexual favors\; and there are specific rules that employers should have in place and follow to handle all types of sexual harassment. The presentation will identify how\, when\, and what an employee or employer should do if they perceive that sexual harassment is taking place and when it is not sexual harassment. Attendees will learn about company responsibility\, individual responsibility and what to do.\n\nKathy Meyer specializes in providing comprehensive\, human resources expertise and services to small and mid-size companies.  She knows how to handle the broadest range of people needs within a company and is able to create efficient and effective processes that are vital to business success.  \n\nThe event will be held on September 7\, 2018 at Squaw Creek Golf Course in Willow Park. Cost to attend for EPC WBA members is $20 or $25 for nonmembers.
