After volunteering at Carswell Federal Prison in Ft. Worth for the past 8 years, I felt strongly that there needed to be a Christian home for women to come to after prison to help get them back into society and help them receive a positive identity for themselves.
I have lived in this community for over 45 years. My husband and I have raised our 4 children here, and all of them still live here and are raising their families here as well.
