Ausome Allen Benefit softball tournament w/ & for Special needs heroes' (men & coed division)

Ausome Allen Benefit softball tournament w/ & for Special needs heroes' (men & coed division)

The AUsome Allen Foundation hosts one of the largest softball tournaments in Texas with and for special needs heroes. This event brings in over 4,000 people throughout the weekend. We have a bounce house, sensory stations, raffle and silent auction items, yard games with prizes, vendor shopping, loads of softball and so much more. We start the weekend off with a homerun derby and a fielding and hitting clinic for young kids and adults. Then bright and early Sunday morning we have a special needs hero sing the national anthem, then a prayer and then we break off into playing ball.

Special needs heroes come out to the tournament and ALL the teams request to have a hero on their roster. When the heroes and their families enter the park, they are greeted and given a custom jersey, medal and then placed on one of the teams where they get to be a part of everything going on for them! These heroes get their time to shine on field. We pause the time clock and allow these heroes to hit and run the bases, and even field the ball if they want! Special needs can play on as many teams as they want as many times as they want. This event is for them! We encourage families to come out and bring their kids to cheer on these heroes and enjoy an event that helps bring change to the special needs community. All the money we raise helps us send heroes to summer camp and build a one-of-a-kind inclusive playground with the first ever 2 story wheelchair accessible treehouse!
