You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Theatre Off The Square in Weatherford proudly presents their 2019 Musical, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” based on the comic strip, "Peanuts," by Charles Schulz; book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner; additional dialogue by Michael Meyer; additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” is presented through special arrangement with TAMS-WITMARK 
www.tamswitmark.com. This play is directed by Darla Robinson; the music director is Garrett McNutt; and the assistant director is Wally Jones. The show begins Friday, September 6 and runs weekends through September 22.
 
Currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary! “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (Revised) is a fresh approach to the all-time 1967 classic, based on the beloved comic strip by Charles Schultz. Sally Brown joins Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, and Snoopy in this charming revue of vignettes and songs. Two new songs, "Beethoven Day" and "My New Philosophy," have been added to the twelve numbers from the original version, which include "My Blanket and Me," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Suppertime," and "Happiness."

The cast of young adults are as follows:  Jessica Braswell as Sally Brown; Emma McKay as Lucy Van Pelt; Haley Davis as Snoopy; Christian Lopez as Schroeder; Jonathon Ogden as Charlie Brown; and Apat Karmany as Linus Van Pelt.
