The Odd Couple
The Odd Couple is written by Neil Simon and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. The production is directed by Wally Jones, with Lewis Schwartz as Assistant Director and Ashley Goubert as Stage Manager. Mr. Jones and Mr. Schwartz were Oscar Madison and Felix Ungar, respectively, in Theatre Off The Square’s 2007 production of The Odd Couple and now act as the directors. The Weatherford High School theatre student interns are Garrett Hamilton (Tech Intern) and Trint Gardiner (Director’s Intern).
Set in the 1960’s in New York City, this classic comedy is the story of how Oscar Madison and Felix Ungar, the slob and the clean-freak, ultimately decide to room together. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for seniors (60+)/students/children under school age. Matinee tickets are $12 for all ages and no other discounts apply. You can choose your seats and purchase your tickets to any performance online by visiting the website www.theatreoffthesquare.org. The theatre Box Office is open from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday evenings to purchase tickets and to reserve seats. Groups of 10 or more may reserve seating with prepaid admission of $13 per person on Fridays and Saturdays and $11 per person on Sundays. Additionally, all tickets are $15 at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, with reserved seating recommended by calling 817-341-8687.
