The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

Theatre Off The Square in Weatherford proudly presents their annual youth production, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, dramatized by Joseph Robinette, from the story by C.S. Lewis and presented by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Co., Woodstock, Illinois. This production is directed by Tyler Burden, with Wally Jones as Assistant Director and Adrienne Cole as Stage Manager.  The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe begins Friday, July 26 and runs two weekends through August 4.
 
Interpreter Services will be provided at the performance on Friday, August 2 at 7:30 pm. Services are provided through a partnership with the American Sign Language Interpreting Program of Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus.
 
This new dramatization of C.S. Lewis' classic, set in the land of Narnia, faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan. This story of love, faith, courage and giving, with its triumph of good over evil, is a true celebration of life.
