Safe Halloween

Approximately 30 booths will be set up with candy, games and all kinds of family-friendly, spooky fun in the Couts Parking lot on WC. But before the festivities open up to the entire community, families are invited to bring their special needs children from 5 to 6 p.m. for a more relaxing atmosphere. Later in the evening, keep an eye on the stage for a costume contest hosted by the Weatherford Public Library. Safe Halloween also serves as a canned food drive for the Senior Center, and everyone who attends is encouraged to bring at least one canned food item to donate at the entrance.
