Free Movie Event - The Father and the Bear
Join us for a free showing of "The Father And The Bear", on Tuesday, June 20th at 6:30 pm, supporting the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's.
A retired character actor with diagnosed dementia, longs to perform at his beloved summer theater one last time. Against his daughter's wishes, he accepts a role from the newly installed artistic director who is unaware of the man's condition.
A brief Q&A will follow about Alzheimer's and caregiving by Barbara Harty, Gerontological Nurse Practitioner & Assistant Professor of Medicine at UNTHSC.
