Clark Gardens will host family-friendly Easter activities Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a community-wide sunrise service Sunday, March 31.
On Saturday, the Easter bunny will be on location along with live rabbits providing a bunny-petting “HOPportunity.”
Michael’s Studio will be in the Garden to provide professional family photos.
Additional children’s activities include unique crafts; creating tissue-paper butterflies and flowers, decorating an Easter Bunny bag and an Easter Egg Hunt. Entertainment will be provided by JJ the Clown. The hunt will begin at 1 p.m. with the following age categories - 3 and under; 4-6 and 7-10 and 11 and above years of age. Children should bring their Easter basket for the hunt.
Weather permitting, the Clark Garden Train Depot will be running their G-Scale model trains.
A picnic will be served on the Summer House Lawn. Sack lunches will be provided by Clark Gardens for the first 300 guests.
On Sunday, the sunrise service will take place at 7:00 a.m. The service, hosted by the Mineral Wells Area Ministerial Alliance, will be held in a covered pavilion with garden gates opening at 6:30 a.m. Admission for the sunrise service is free and open to the public. Following the service, guests are invited to enjoy the gardens until 9:30 am.
