Dementia Friendly Business Educational Series

Does your business serve a population that may have Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia?  Gain a Dementia Friendly Certificate for your business by attending our workshop on dementia.  This workshop runs every Monday, beginning July 10, 2017.  If you and/or your associates attend 5 out of the 6 classes, you will receive a dementia friendly certificate to hang in your business.  Food and beverages will be provided, as well as CEUs for those who need nursing and social work.  Otherwise, you will receive a compassionate training on how to recognize the symptoms, how to treat with dignity, and many other useful tips.  This series is dementia certified and taught by Hollie Glover, LPC, who worked with the Alzheimer's Association with the families in crisis and now works with Silverado Memory Care.
