Jimmy Fortune toured, sang and performed with the Legendary Statler Bros for 21 years. Jimmy replaced Lew Dewitt when he had to retire due to health issues in 1982.Fortune quickly lived up to his name. He wrote the groups second number 1 hit "Elizabeth" and then followed with two more number 1's with "My Only Love" and "Too Much On My Heart". He also wrote the top ten hit "Forever" and co-wrote "More Than A Name On The Wall." Jimmy also appeared on the Nashville Network's " Statler Brothers Show" for 7 seasons and debuted in 1991 as the networks highest rated show. Michael Hix and Lisa Layne and Tommy Horton will open the show.
