New York Daily News ROLES NEEDED Oscar Madison: To play age 35-45. A slovenly, recently divorced sportswriter. Felix Ungar: To play age 35-45. A fastidious, hypochondriac news writer whose marriage is ending. Murray: To play age 30-50. An NYPD policeman, one of Oscar and Felix's poker buddies. Speed: To play age 30-50. One of the poker buddies. Gruff and sarcastic, often picking on Vinnie and Murray. Vinnie: To play 30-50. One of the poker buddies. Vinnie is mild-mannered and henpecked, making him an easy target for Speed's verbal barbs. Roy: To play 30-50. One of the poker buddies. Oscar's accountant. Roy has a dry wit but is less acerbic than Speed. Cecily Pigeon: To play 30-40. Oscar and Felix's giggly upstairs neighbor, a divorcee, English, sister to Gwendolyn. Gwendolyn Pigeon: To play 30-40. Oscar and Felix's giggly upstairs neighbor, a widow, English, sister to Cecily. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. A perusal copy is available at the theatre. Rehearsals will be May 9 ? June 9. Production dates are June 10 - 26. Curtain time is 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday.
