The award winning author of The Diviners describes this play as ?A children?s story for adults?. When June?s father dies, she prays for a healer to come to the small town of Gray, so that no one will ever suffer again. Set in Indiana during the 1800?s, the play deals with death, loss, love, and healing in a unique coming of age story. ROLES NEEDED Galen Gray: Male, 30s-50s June Muldoon: Female, teens Rebekah Muldoon: Female, 30s Pastor Wingfield: Male, flexible Tiny Wingfield: Female, flexible Crutch Collins: Male, 60s or older Belva Collins: Female, 60s or older Maggie: Female, flexible Homer: Male, teens Rehearsals will be February 1 ? March 10. Production dates are March 11 ? 27. Curtain time is 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday.
