Audition Notice for the mystery/drama, SCANDAL POINT, by John Patrick

SYNOPSIS A paroled convict returns home to his unfaithful wife who has plotted his death with her lover, so they can continue their tryst without him but WITH his fortune. The plan, however, goes awry. A persistent police detective and a husband, who overhears more than his wife intended, reveal the truth in a way that will keep the audience on the edges of their seats right up to the final uncertain moments. ROLES NEEDED Joy Desmond, 20's or 30's - young, beautiful, small-town Southern girl, self- centered, whacky, but with a charming innocence Dr. Kerwin Desmond - husband to Joy, older, intellectual gentleman Bruno Capra - Joy's lover & the Desmond's attorney, more of a straight man Detective Quinn - professional no nonsense attitude. Rehearsals begin Monday, September 7. Production dates are October 16 - November 1. Curtain time is 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday.
