Alzheimer's Association Memories in the Making

The Alzheimer's Association - North Central Texas Chapter and Weatherford College team up to offer Memories in the Making, the Alzheimer's Association art program for people with dementia to Parker County residents and their care partners. The program takes place on Friday afternoons, March 6, March 27, April 10, and April 24 from 2 to 3:30 pm in the Marjorie Alkek Fine Arts Center at Weatherford College, room 103. All materials are provided and there is no charge to participate. The Alzheimer's Association painting activity at Weatherford College offers a fun and comfortable way for people with dementia and a companion to leave their cares at home, take part in an enjoyable activity and connect with like individuals in their own community.
