DESCRIPTION:Weatherford College is proud to host the 8th Weatherford College International Piano Competition. The preliminary round will take place online through submitted video recordings. From these entries\, semifinalists will be selected to perform live 25-minute solo recitals at the Weatherford College Marjorie Alkek Performing Arts Center in Weatherford\, Texas\, on April 10\, 2026. Four finalists will advance to perform piano quartets with the Weatherford College Chamber Music Ensemble on April 11\, 2026\n\n\n\nPrizes include trophies\, certificates\, and cash awards. The first-prize winner will also receive a concert engagement at Weatherford College during the 2026 2027 academic year.
