DESCRIPTION:Join us for our third annual Mardi Gras Festival in the Alkek Fine Arts Center. This free\, family-friendly event will feature jazz music\, gumbo contest\, face painting\, crafts for kids\, and great food. Let the good times roll!\n\n \nWEATHERFORD COLLEGE\n\nGUMBO CONTEST GUIDELINES\n\nDEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS FEBRUARY 25.\n\n\n	Chefs will bring their pre-cooked gumbo and a warmer to room 103 in the Alkek Fine Arts Building. Contestants need to be set up by 5:30.\n	Room FINE 103 will be available for chefs beginning at 4 pm.\n	Chefs should be ready to provide samples for the four judges by 5:45.\n	Please bring your ladles for serving gumbo.\n	Rice\, bowls\, and spoons will be provided.\n	Electrical hook-ups for warmers are provided.\n	Chef Eben Lee Hall will be the gumbo contest monitor.\n	Judges will pick their three top gumbos.\n	Winners will be announced at 7:30 in the Alkek Theater.\n	Prizes for First\, Second\, and Third place will be awarded at that time.\n	PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DECORATE YOUR ENTRY/AREA AS YOU DESIRE!\n\n\nYou can fill out the online form or call 817-598-8981.\n\nOnline Form: https://forms.office.com/r/vawjpaP9PK\n\nIf you have any questions contact:\n\nSandra C.
