DESCRIPTION:ONLINE APPLICATION\n\n\n\n \nLEADERSHIP EAST PARKER COUNTY\n\n\n\n\nLeadership East Parker County is a program sponsored by the East Parker County Chamber of Commerce which challenges its participants to make a difference in the community\, to make a positive contribution to our quality of life\, and to be prepared to become the leaders of tomorrow.\n\nHere are some facts about the program:\n\nLeadership East Parker County is a challenge.\nA series of nine full-day sessions (one day each month) offer learning opportunities and challenge participants to become actively involved in building a better tomorrow for East Parker County. Sessions focus on the following important issues: Industry\, City/County Government\, Education\, Health Care\, Agriculture\, Transportation\, Technology\, Communication\, and Quality of Life.\n\nLeadership East Parker County is a commitment.\nLeadership East Parker County requires a commitment from completion of the application through graduation. This commitment involves one day per month for regular sessions that run September through May. A tuition of $600 covers meals and other program expenses.\n\nLeadership East Parker County is an investment.\nBy creating a leadership pool for the present and the future\, Leadership East Parker County is truly an investment in our community. Leadership East Parker County strives to ensure continuity of leadership for the community. Participation in the program is a commitment to take the contributions from former leaders and to build on that foundation. Through Leadership East Parker County\, potential leaders are identified.\n\nThe program creates an awareness of community resources and needs\, while enhancing existing leadership skills.\n\nLeadership East Parker County is ongoing.\nUpon completion of the program\, Leadership East Parker County participants are eligible for membership in the Leadership Alumni Association. Alumni members assist the organization in continuing the process of leadership development. The Alumni Association provides a continuing education forum for past participants\, including programs dealing with issues of importance to East Parker County.\n\nLeadership East Parker County is an opportunity.\nWe invite you to apply to participate in the upcoming Leadership East Parker County class. You'll find it will be a wonderful experience as well as a solid investment in your community. Applications are available at the Chamber office located at 100 Chuckwagon Trail\, Willow Park\, 76087.\n\nThe application deadline is AUGUST 14th. Participants will be notified of acceptance by August 21st.\n\nLeadership East Parker County unites participants.\nLeadership East Parker County will begin with a mandatory orientation/mixer (Sept.26\, 3:00   5:00 PM) and mandatory Team Building course at Leadership On The Go\,15238 Old Stony Road\, Ponder\, TX (Sept. 27) that will acquaint the participants with each other and the program.
