DESCRIPTION:Leadership Parker County is a commitment.\n\nLeadership Parker County requires a commitment from completion of the application through graduation. This commitment involves one day per month for regular sessions that run September through May. A tuition of $700 covers meals and other program expenses.\n\nLeadership Parker County is an investment.\n\nBy creating a leadership pool for the present and the future\, Leadership Parker County is truly an investment in our community. Leadership Parker County strives to ensure continuity of leadership for the community. Participation in the program is a commitment to take the contributions from former leaders and to build on that foundation. Through Leadership Parker County\, potential leaders are identified.\n\nThe program creates an awareness of community resources and needs\, while enhancing existing leadership skills.\n\nLeadership Parker County is ongoing.\n\nUpon completion of the program\, Leadership Parker County participants are eligible for membership in the Leadership Alumni Association. Alumni members assist the organization in continuing the process of leadership development. The Alumni Association provides a continuing education forum for past participants\, including programs dealing with issues of importance to Parker County.\n\nLeadership Parker County is an opportunity.\n\nWe invite you to apply to participate in the upcoming Leadership Parker County class. You'll find it will be a wonderful experience as well as a solid investment in your community. Applications are available at the Chamber office located at 100 Chuckwagon Trail\, Willow Park\, 76087.\n\nThe application deadline is AUGUST 12th. Participants will be notified of acceptance by August 26th.\n\nLeadership Parker County unites participants.\n\nLeadership Parker County will begin with a mandatory orientation/mixer (Sept.21\, 3:00   5:00 PM) and ROPES course (Sept. 22) that will acquaint the participants with each other and the program.
