SUMMARY:HOW THE OTHER HALF LOVES by Alan Ayckbourn
DESCRIPTION:THEATRE OFF THE SQUARE IN WEATHERFORD proudly presents the third production of 2017 and their 18th Season of Shows. How the Other Half Loves is written by Alan Ayckbourn and is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French\, Inc. Out of a desire to try to stretch the theatre into new avenues\, Theatre Off The Square is producing its second off season show\, which will be presented in a limited run\, April 21 - 30\, and is not included in their Season Ticket package. Though patrons will very much enjoy this comedy\, please note that it does have some adult language. The theatre hopes that you will continue to support this new venture\, "TOTS Unplugged." The production is directed by Marilyn Sanderson\, with Roberta Furman as Assistant Director and Glenda Webb as Stage Manager.\n\n \n\nThere are three couples\, the men all working for the same firm. One of the younger men is having an affair with the wife of the oldest\, and when each returns home suspiciously late one night or early one morning they invent a story about having to spend some time smoothing domestic matters in the home of the third couple. Both living rooms are shown in the single set\, and both share a common dining room which takes on a character of its own as it serves two dinners simultaneously on two different nights. Of course\, the third couple have to show up to put the fat in the fire\, but that complication only adds to the fun of this famous farce.\n\n \n\nMembers of the cast are Dan Parris as Frank Foster\; Susie Kreipe as Fiona Foster\; Ray Shannon as Bob Phillips\; Carmen Scott as Teresa Phillips\; Brad Justice as William Detweiler\; and Jaclyn Justice as Mary Detweiller.
