The event will be held November 6\, 2021 in Hudson Oaks at Gene Voyles Park. Go the Distance 5k Run is to bring awareness to Domestic Violence and Zonta's SAY NO TO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN campaign. Zonta is an International Service Organization whose mission is to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. Proceeds from our run go to support local and international service projects including Meals on Wheels\, Pink Luncheon\, Sanctified Hope\, Velvet Hearts\, Just Us Friends\, Center of Hope and Freedom House\, as well as local scholarships for Parker County students to attend college. Our members volunteer at functions benefiting these organizations and always raise money and awareness for them.\n\n \n\nHow can you participate? We have several opportunities for you to be a part of this.\n\n \n\n Be a sponsor we have 4 levels\n\n\n\n Jogger: $100 name/logo on our runner T-shirts(small print)\, 1 entry in race \n\n(You can be a sponsor without a runner)\n\n\n Miler: $250 name/logo on T-shirts(small print)\, with shirts for each runner\, team of 4 in race \n Marathon: $500 name/logo on our runner T-shirts\, (medium print) name on posters at event\, team of 8 in race\, name/logo on our pre-event advertising and recognition on our Facebook page\n Olympian: $750 top billing name/logo on our runner T-shirts (large print)\, name/logo on posters at event\, team of 12 in race\, name/logo on our pre-event advertising\, recognition at our annual Amelia Earhart luncheon and on our Facebook page\n\n \n\n\n Be a runner -- $35 per person with a T-shirt with registration by October 22.
