DESCRIPTION:Itinerary for March 20th \n\n\n\nLegislative Agenda\n\n\n\nMap of the Capitol with our meeting rooms marked \n\n\n\nThe East Parker County Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee will be hosting East Parker County Day at the Texas State Capitol on Wednesday\, March 20\, 2019. A delegation of Chamber members and Aledo ISD students will engage in an open dialogue with legislators to discuss issues affecting our local businesses and community. Attendees will hear updates on state and federal policy and learn about topics that impact our community such as education\, transportation\, healthcare and water.\n\n\n\nIndividuals interested in attending will meet at the Texas State Capitol in Austin at 1100 Congress Avenue at 10:00AM in the House Gallery. All hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendees. Anyone interested in attending the dinner and/or the event at the Capitol\, please contact a member of the Chamber staff at 817-441-7844 or register online so we know to plan for your attendance. Cost is $100 per person (this includes lunch\, dinner and access to the meetings).\n\n\n\nThe Chambers Governmental Affairs Committee was established to develop plans and strategies to ensure that Chamber members are kept informed of federal and state legislative issues affecting the business and local community. Reservations may be made by using the booking link provided here: East Parker Chamber of Commerce Booking Link\n\n\n\nIndividuals must identify themselves as part of the group to obtain the group rate. Code: EPC\n\nCost is $119 plus tax per room\n\n \n\nCut-Off Date: February 25\, 2019\n\n \n\nOn the above cut-off date\, the Hotel will release any unreserved rooms for general re-sale. Any reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be accepted on space available basis at prevailing rates.\n\n \n\nCheck-In Time: 3:00 PM Check-Out Time: by 12:00 Noon\n\n \n\nThe Hotel will accommodate early check-in requests based on availability\, as determined by the Hotel?s occupancy the night prior to arrival.
