DESCRIPTION:With the rising cost of a college education\, Trinity Christian Academy is hosting a College Financial Assistance program for all area high school students and their parents. This free event will be held on Monday\, February 9\, at 6:00 p.m. in the TCA Secondary Cafeteria. TCA Academic Advisor Robbie Watson announced the program saying\, ''We are excited to have a college admissions representative here to make a presentation about different types of financial assistance for college students.'' The information will be presented by Lubbock Christian University but Watson emphasized\, ''The presentation will be about different financial options in general\, not related to any one specific college. It is open to all parents and students\, but we highly suggest that high school juniors and seniors attend if possible.'' Topics that to be covered include how to apply for financial aid\, types of financial aid available\, scholarships and more.
