Together they fashion an evening of country western songs that received unanimous raves on and off-Broadway. "Both musically and theatrically\, a triumph of ensemble playing. It doesn't merely celebrate the value of friendship and life's simple pleasures\, it embodies them."-The New York Times\nROLES NEEDED:\nJackson.....male.....sing & play lead guitar\nL.M......male.....sing & play piano (intermediate to advanced level)\nEddie.....male.....sing & play bass\nJim.....male.....sing & play rhythm guitar\nPrudie Cupp.....female.....sing\, some tap ability\nRhetta Cup.....female.....ALREADY CAST\nAUDITIONS AND IMPORTANT DATES\nMale musicians should bring their instruments & prepare 2 country songs. Female musicians should prepare 2 country songs with their own CD.No Broadway style music will be accepted.Must bring own music. \nCD player & piano will be available\, but no accompanist. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. A perusal copy is available at the theatre. Rehearsals begin Monday\, April 6.\nProduction dates are June 5 - June 21.
