DESCRIPTION:The City of Aledo is pleased to invite the public to attend a special celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Incorporation and dedication of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Elevated Water Storage Tower. The event will start at 10 a.m. at the Aledo Community Center. The event will consist of a Time Capsule\, student essays representing Aledo\, Homer Norris's art and a timeline form 1882 - 2013. Beginning at 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. you can take a bus from the Community Center and tour the treatment plant and water tower. Light refreshments will be served.
