DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 24th\, Warrior Baseball is hosting its 2nd Annual Home-Run Derby to benefit the Texas Pythian Home at the Pythian Home's Baseball Field and grounds. Get more information on this charity and all the wonderful things it does to help our community here:\n\nhttps://pythianhome.org\n\n\n\nParticipant Info:\n\n\n\nAges 5 and up\n\n\n\nFence Length per age group:\n\n5-9yrs - 175'\n\n10-13yrs - 200'\n\n14-17yrs - 300'\n\n18+ - 300'\n\n\n\nUnderhand baseballs will be pitched for ages 6 to 17. Underhand softballs will be pitched for ages 19+\n\n\n\nHomerun Derby Rules and Format:\n\n???NO BAT RESTRICTIONS???\n\n\n\n*All participants will compete in the first round of the home run derby.\n\n*Each participant will receive one point for each home run hit over the fence.\n\n*Each swing not resulting in a home run will be referred to as an out.\n\n*Each batter will hit until (s)he has recorded ten (10) outs.\n\n*The first round will be completed after all participants have had their turn and have made ten (10) outs.\n\n*The two participants with the highest total of points will advance to the final round.\n\n*The same rules will apply to the Final Round   as the previous round.\n\n*At the completion of the final round prizes will be awarded in all age groups for 1st and 2nd place.\n\n??? 19+ age group cash prize for 1st place\, cash prize for 2nd???\n\n\n\nTime starts per age group: TIMES SUBJECT TO CHANGE\n\n\n\n\n\nYouth 5-9 9:00am Registration @8:00am\n\n\n\nYouth 10-13 10:00am Registration @9:00am\n\n\n\nYouth 14-17 11:00am Registration @10:00am\n\n\n\nAdult 18+  12:00pm Registration @ 11:00am\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPLEASE ARRIVE 30 MIN EARLY prior to your age groups start time - There will be a check-in desk for you to sign in and to determine batting order.
